ZOKOP BCD60 is a solid freezer, not too heavy empty. Freezes VERY cold. Can be used as fridge by setting thermostat higher. Quiet, the compressor is barely audible even @ max power setting. In 90degree days the compressor runs only about 25% of the time @ max power, or 33% of the time at low power setting if kept in the shade and lid opening minimized. The freezer looks and feels very well built, lid fits tight, hinges well machined. There is a lot of room in this freezer. It can be found for less than $400, an amazing value given some sell similar freezers for over $1000 ! Armored freezers (protected with big plastic bumpers) of same size can be $2000. Notably absent from specs on ALL seller listings is any info re POWER CONSUMPTION. Though common for camping freezer sellers, this is dumb. Campers have limited power, often relying on Solar, generators, and / or batteries with limited capacity. It is critical to know power consumption for all major appliances when camping. A review of specs in the booklet which accompanied this freezer revealed the unit has a 15 amp fuse, and consumes 70watts. The plug in power supply Max Output @ 14.5V, is 6.0 amps or 87 watts. This puts the freezer in the ballpark with similar sized other freezers.
